It is resistant to most β-lactamases and exhibits strong stability against extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBLs), making it highly effective for multi-resistant bacterial infections.

Adults: 500 mg to 1 g every 8 hours by IV infusion, depending on infection severity.
Children: Dosage as per body weight and clinical condition.
Route: Intravenous (IV) injection or infusion only.
Reconstitution: Dissolve in sterile water for injection or appropriate diluent before use.
