Cilibac is a broad-spectrum β-lactam/β-lactamase inhibitor combination that provides powerful antibacterial coverage against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens, including resistant strains producing β-lactamase enzymes.
It is indicated for serious infections in hospitals and clinics, ensuring rapid bacterial eradication and reliable patient outcomes.
- Broad-Spectrum Action – Effective against mixed and resistant infections
- Fast Clinical Response – Rapid onset with proven efficacy
- β-Lactamase Protection – Tazobactam prevents enzyme-mediated resistance
Hospital-Grade Reliability – Trusted in critical and post-surgical infections
Piperacillin is a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to cell lysis and death.
Tazobactam acts as a β-lactamase inhibitor, protecting Piperacillin from enzymatic degradation by resistant bacteria.
Together, they deliver synergistic action against both β-lactamase–producing and non–β-lactamase–producing strains.
Broad-Spectrum Coverage: Active against Gram+ & Gram– pathogens, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Resistance Control: Tazobactam enhances Piperacillin’s effectiveness against β-lactamase producers.
Fast Bacterial Clearance: Rapid onset ensures early clinical improvement.
Critical Care Utility: Effective for hospital-acquired and polymicrobial infections.
Lower respiratory tract infections (including pneumonia)
Urinary tract infections (complicated and uncomplicated)
Intra-abdominal infections
Skin and soft tissue infections
Bone and joint infections
Gynecological and pelvic infections
Septicemia and febrile neutropenia
